It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fort Recovery can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the St. Henry Redskins on Saturday. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-3, 25-8.

Despite the defeat, Fort Recovery saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kayla Gaerke had ten digs and one assist. Gaerke has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

St. Henry had a senior duo take command as Morgan Baumer had 13 digs and four aces and Alexis Buschur had seven digs and three aces.

Fort Recovery's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for St. Henry, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Fort Recovery does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Henry, they will head out to challenge Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
