New Braunfels's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They never let the Veterans Memorial Patriots get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering the Unicorns have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Veterans Memorial with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Makenna Cundiff, Abigail Martinez, Bella Rosales, and Elise Owen.

The victory (which was New Braunfels' third in a row) raised their record to 9-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Veterans Memorial, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Looking ahead, New Braunfels will welcome Smithson Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Smithson Valley will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something New Braunfels surely won't give up without a fight. As for Veterans Memorial, they will head out to face off against Wagner at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
