Football Recap: Hooper Academy Victorious

Hooper Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 35-28 win over the Bessemer Academy Rebels.

Hooper Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bessemer Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Hooper Academy will face off against Lakeside School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colts will be up against the Chiefs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bessemer Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Morgan Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
