Volleyball Recap: Lynbrook Takes a Loss

After flying high against MacDonald last Wednesday, Lynbrook came back down to earth. The Vikings fell 3-1 to the Gunn Titans on Monday. The Vikings have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Lynbrook couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 19-25, 28-26.

Lynbrook's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Gunn, their win bumped their record up to 17-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lynbrook will face off against rival Fremont at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Gunn is set to square off against their familiar foe Santa Clara at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
