Foothill entered their tilt with Lebanon on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Warriors 14-5. With that win, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Sofia Nichols was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Nichols was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Taylor Bates was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Hazel Gist was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Foothill was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Lebanon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
