Football Recap: Gabe Workman Key Part of Team Effort in Titans Win

Northview's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past the Clarkston Angoras with points to spare, taking the game 29-12. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Northview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabe Workman out in front who picked up 68 receiving yards and two TDs. Those 68 receiving yards gave Workman a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Drew Beane, who threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Northview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Workman and Wyatt Harper.

Northview's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Clarkston, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will challenge Druid Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Clarkston, they will square off against Marist at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
