Meanwhile, Malibu didn't have quite enough to beat Santa Paula last Thursday and fell 3-2.
Malibu actually scored more points across those five sets (102-88), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 12-25, 25-19, 11-25, 15-13.
