Softball Recap: San Diego Extends Winning Streak to Three

San Diego had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Bishop Badgers. For the Vaqueros, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Badgers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2025.

San Diego's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Bishop, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. San Diego is set to face off against their familiar foe Orange Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bishop will challenge rival Banquete at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
