Cherokee County took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against West Morgan, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors won by a set and slipped past the Rebels 2-1. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won four matches in a row.

Nevaeh Gaidurgis paced Cherokee County's offense, picking up 16 kills. Gaidurgis got some help from Macy Lea and her 24 assists. Ellisan Givens controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cherokee County's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for West Morgan, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
