Recap: Conifer Lobos vs. Pueblo West Cyclones
The Conifer Lobos had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Pueblo West on Thursday, falling 75-37. Conifer was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-17.
Issac Pratt and Tyler Leslie certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Pratt scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals, while Leslie scored 5 points along with 8 rebounds.
Among those leading the charge was Micah Campos, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 steals. Another player making a difference was Logan Montgomery, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds.
Conifer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Pueblo West, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Conifer won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Far Northeast W at 4:00 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Far Northeast W focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Thursday. As for Pueblo West, they will head out on the road to face off against Fountain-Fort Carson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
