Caprock scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past the Palo Duro Dons 12-3. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Matthew Hulen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). Hulen has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Hulen was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with an RBI.
