Pace and Donna are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Vikings will challenge the Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pace is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Pace fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Lopez on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 11-7 to the Lobos.

Sofia Alejandro was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Mares, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 22 runs the game before, Donna was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against Rivera, falling 8-1.

Donna dropped their record down to 3-15-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Pace, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Pace took their win against Donna in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
