While North Pemiscot's win against Clarkton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Reindeer 3-2. Emma Wagley paced North Pemiscot's offense, picking up 30 kills. Wagley also shared the team's lead in assists with Maelyn McCulloch: they picked up two each. McCulloch was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
Despite the defeat, Clarkton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tabitha Rivera had 27 digs and two aces. Those 27 digs set a new season-high mark for Rivera.
