Softball Recap: Camp Point Central Comes Up Short

If Camp Point Central was riding high fresh off their 22-9 takedown of Mendon Unity on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Biggsville West Central Heat on Tuesday, falling 6-0.

Camp Point Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Biggsville West Central, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-2-1.

Looking ahead, Camp Point Central will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Brown County at 4:30 p.m. As for Biggsville West Central, they will head out to take on Princeville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
