Perkins County had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 65-64 W against the Kimball Longhorns. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-60 back in December of 2024.

Perkins County pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. As for Kimball, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.
