It's playoff time, and Lake Norman Charter had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Ashe County Huskies 3-0 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won 23 matches in a row.

Lake Norman Charter walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-16.

Finley Fay paced Lake Norman Charter's offense, picking up ten kills. Fay got some help from Riley Caruso and her 20 assists. Camila Suarez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Ashe County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lorali Overcash, who had nine digs, two aces, and one block. Another player making a difference was Kinzley Blevins, who had 14 digs and one assist.

Lake Norman Charter's win bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Ashe County, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 26-9.

Lake Norman Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against South Rowan on the 28th. Ashe County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
