Basketball Recap: Mark Keppel Comes Up Short

Mark Keppel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 78-58 to the Bishop Amat Lancers. The Aztecs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2017.

Mark Keppel's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Bishop Amat, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Mark Keppel will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Polytechnic at 6:00 p.m. on December 11. As for Bishop Amat, they and North will face off at 7:50 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Lancers will need to watch out since the Saxons have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
