Baseball Recap: Franklin Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sunapee, Franklin was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Farmington Tigers as they made off with a 17-4 win. The Tornadoes haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Franklin's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Farmington, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Franklin will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mascenic Regional at 4:00 p.m. on May 5. As for Farmington, they will venture away from home to square off against Concord Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Kingsmen will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
