St. Thomas Aquinas extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Adriana Medrano. The Raiders blew past the Assumption Rockets 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Medrano, who had 26 digs and two assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 11.3 digs per game.

St. Thomas Aquinas' got stronger as the match went on, holding Assumption to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-21, 25-20.

St. Thomas Aquinas' victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Assumption, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas Aquinas will head out on the road to square off against Archbishop McCarthy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give the Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Assumption, they will face off against St. Joseph Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
