Football Game Preview: Regis Jesuit Raiders vs. Pine Creek Eagles + How To Watch

The Regis Jesuit Raiders will take on the Pine Creek Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

If Pine Creek heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Regis Jesuit took over last week. The Raiders put the hurt on Douglas County with a sharp 52-31 win on Friday. The Raiders' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Regis Jesuit found their leader in sophomore Luke Rubley, who threw for 333 yards and five TDs, and also punched in one rushing score. Rubley's passing game has become a key predictor of the Raiders' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-4 otherwise. Joe Pron helped Rubley out on the ground, rushing for 86 yards and one score.

Regis Jesuit was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 213 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Douglas County only rushed for 106.

Regis Jesuit didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Logan Singer and Will Anzures. Cade Filleman was another major factor on D, making 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, Pine Creek made easy work of Chaparral on Friday and carried off a 50-25 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Pine Creek's win came from a few key players Regis Jesuit will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Xavier Lukes, who rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Brady Walden, who gained 164 total yards and two touchdowns.

The victory got Regis Jesuit back to even at 4-4. As for Pine Creek, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Things could have been worse for Regis Jesuit, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 28-14 loss to Pine Creek in their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
