Basketball Recap: Converse Gets the Win

After losing to Stanley the last time they met, Converse decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Converse Wildcats walked away with a 40-33 win over the Stanley Panthers on Thursday.

Converse's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-18. As for Stanley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Converse will host Zwolle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stanley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Evans at 5:00 p.m.
