Soccer Game Preview: Carter vs. A Plus Academy

The Carter Cowboys will head out to take on the A Plus Academy Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carter's offense. They lost 8-0 to North Dallas on Tuesday. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, A Plus Academy kept a clean sheet against Roosevelt on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 8-0 win. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly eight goals.

Carter's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for A Plus Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Carter came up short against A Plus Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 5-3. Can Carter avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
