Basketball Recap: Parkers Prairie Has No Trouble Against Wadena-Deer Creek

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, Parkers Prairie was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 68-43 margin over the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines. The contest marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Parkers Prairie has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Wadena-Deer Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Parkers Prairie Panthers duke it out with the Rothsay Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wadena-Deer Creek, they will head out on the road to square off against Pillager at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pillager will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Wadena-Deer Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
