Sanderson and Enloe are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. Sanderson comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Enloe and Athens Drive had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 9-5 last Thursday. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Jaguars on their field since April 4, 2022.
Avery Modlin was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Jaycey Morrrison and Kylan Wright did most of the damage at the plate: Morrrison went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles, while Wright scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Those two hits gave Morrrison a new career-high. Emily Peters also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Enloe's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Sanderson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Sanderson might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Enloe when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Spartans have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
