To'hajiilee proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Jemez Valley Warrior. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

To'hajiilee was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-7, 18-25, 25-9, 15-13.

To'hajiilee's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Jemez Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

To'hajiilee will be playing in front of their home fans against Tse' Yi' Gai at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Jemez Valley, they are taking a road trip to take on Legacy Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Silverbacks will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Warrior surely won't give up without a fight.
