Baruch College is a perfect 4-0 against Math Science & Engineering since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Blue Devils Bearcats will square off against Math Science & Engineering at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Baruch College has 13 straight wins, Math Science & Engineering has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Baruch College had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Health Profession on Tuesday. The Blue Devils Bearcats put the hurt on Health Profession with a sharp 20-2 victory. The Blue Devils Bearcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Jeremy Rodriguez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Ben Cruz was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Baruch College always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .615 or higher in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Math Science & Engineering didn't have quite enough to beat Manhattan Village Academy on Wednesday and fell 6-5.

Baruch College's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Math Science & Engineering, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Baruch College was able to grind out a solid victory over Math Science & Engineering when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 6-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
