The victory got Shelby Valley back to even at 9-9. As for Betsy Layne, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Shelby Valley beat Betsy Layne 82-72 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shelby Valley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
