Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Baxter Springs

Baxter Springs came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Columbus Titans by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19.

Kadence Underhill paced Baxter Springs' offense, picking up eight kills. Underhill got some help from Sam Sheffer and her 19 assists. Devyn Hopkins controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Baxter Springs' win bumped their record up to 24-13. As for Columbus, they dropped their record down to 5-26-1 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Baxter Springs and Columbus will both be playing Frontenac the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
