Fans got a thrill when Ledarius Carpenter and Demorrious Brown connected against Mendenhall. The connection went for 74 yards, the longest such play in 5A Region 2 this season.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Germantown beat North Pike 37-22,. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Mavericks.
