Basketball Recap: Northwest Whitfield Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calhoun, Northwest Whitfield was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the LaFayette Ramblers by a score of 47-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-58 back in January.

Northwest Whitfield is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for LaFayette, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwest Whitfield will host Gilmer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for LaFayette, they will welcome Adairsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
