Volleyball Recap: A&M Consolidated Takes a Loss

A&M Consolidated lost against Tompkins back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Falcons. The match marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Tompkins got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lainey Monroe out in front who had 12 digs and four assists. Those four assists gave Monroe a new career-high.

This is the second loss in a row for A&M Consolidated and nudges their season record down to 5-2. As for Tompkins, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, A&M Consolidated will face off against Bryan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tompkins, they are taking a road trip to square off against Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
