Ash Grove has gone a perfect 4-0 against Sarcoxie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Pirates will welcome the Bears at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Ash Grove is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Conway just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 15-2 to the Bears.

Ash Grove saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sawyer Burks, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was Burks' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Sarcoxie came up short against Lockwood on Tuesday and fell 8-4. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sarcoxie's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Ash Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Everything went Ash Grove's way against Sarcoxie in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Ash Grove made off with a 10-3 win. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
