Football Recap: Bayshore Comes Up Short

Bayshore fell victim to Manatee and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took an 8-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 109th).

This is the second loss in a row for Bayshore and nudges their season record down to 4-9. As for Manatee, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Bayshore wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 24-0 defeat against Lakewood Ranch on the 2nd. As for Manatee, they are taking a road trip to take on Palmetto at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Tigers have played have been within three points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
