Volleyball Recap: Montini Catholic Takes a Loss

Montini Catholic lost against Providence Catholic back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Broncos fell 2-0 to the Celtics. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-7.

Montini Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Providence Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-18 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montini Catholic will welcome Marmion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cadets will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Providence Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Laurence at 6:00 p.m.
