May River and Bluffton are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Sharks will square off against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. May River will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.

May River is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Colleton County 10-0 on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Bluffton came up short against Hilton Head Island on Friday and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Bluffton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Hilton Head Island are ranked 13th).

Bluffton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for May River, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

May River got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Bluffton by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sharks since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
