Football Recap: Tenoroc Piles Up the Points Against Discovery

While Tenoroc put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Discovery. The Titans claimed a resounding 62-0 victory over the Spartans. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered a 25-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

It was another big night for Jaidon Furman, who rushed for 191 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Tenoroc's run defense was locked in: Discovery could only muster -1.5 yards per carry. The team can thank Lamarir Poole for the heroic effort on defense: he. Tenoroc didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 17.2.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Tenoroc, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Demetrius Jones, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Tenoroc's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Discovery, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Tenoroc wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 33-26 defeat against Santa Fe Catholic on the 3rd. As for Discovery, they have also already played their next matchup, a 64-0 loss against LaBelle on the 3rd.
