Baseball Game Preview: Osbourn Eagles vs. Manassas Park Cougars

Osbourn is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Manassas Park a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Osbourn Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Manassas Park Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Osbourn came up short against Osbourn Park on Tuesday, falling 16-1.

Lenell Evans made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Manassas Park lost 19-2 to Handley last Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly 17 runs.

Ethan Casey was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Xavier Tickle also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Osbourn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Manassas Park, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
