Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kee). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Charles City Comets a 15-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Kee Hawks, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Kee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Charles City, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Coming up, Kee will take on MFL MarMac at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Kee Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Charles City, they have already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against St. Ansgar on the 14th.
