Basketball Game Preview: Dewey Bulldoggers vs. Oklahoma Union Cougars

Dewey is 2-8 against Oklahoma Union since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Dewey Bulldoggers will face off against the Oklahoma Union Cougars at 7:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Dewey lost to Oologah on the road by a 69-54 margin. The Bulldoggers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma Union posted their closest victory since December 20, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past Nowata 48-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Oklahoma Union is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Dewey, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Dewey was able to grind out a solid win over Oklahoma Union when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 50-43. Will Dewey repeat their success, or does Oklahoma Union have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
