Preview: Onsted Wildcats vs. Addison Panthers
After both having extra time off, the Onsted Wildcats and the Addison Panthers will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on March 6th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Onsted beat Dundee 43-38.
Onsted's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Karlie Kimerer, who scored 11 points along with six steals, and JayElle Christian, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ainsley Brezvai, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Addison can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game last Friday. They managed a 38-34 victory over Napoleon. The victory was just what Addison needed coming off of a 69-35 loss in their prior game.
Onsted's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Addison, their win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-15.
