The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Jayhawks: they've now won four in a row.

Napoleon's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for Hillsdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
