Pusch Ridge Christian Academy had won 15 straight games dating back to last season and Noah McKinney did his part to make it 16 on Saturday. The Lions came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 38-37 W against the Highland Prep West HORNETS for which the team can thank McKinney, who posted 17 points and five boards. His big performance that afternoon made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Benjamin Lambe, who earned ten points and eight rebounds. Lambe is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Highland Prep West, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 53-42 defeat against Walden Grove on the 29th. As for Highland Prep West, they will be playing at home against Wickenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the HORNETS' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
