Volleyball Game Preview: Upper Scioto Valley Rams vs. Elgin Comets

The Upper Scioto Valley Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the Elgin Comets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Upper Scioto Valley came up short against Temple Christian on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Elgin entered their tilt with Upper Sandusky on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Rams 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-16.

Upper Scioto Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Elgin, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Upper Scioto Valley suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Elgin when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
