Washington Catholic managed to keep up with Eastern Greene until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cardinals came up short against the Thunderbirds, falling 3-0. Washington Catholic's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Washington Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Eastern Greene, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-2 record this season.

Washington Catholic will square off against Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eastern Greene, they will take on North Knox at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
