Softball Recap: Tharptown Takes a Loss

The Tharptown Wildcats didn't have quite enough to beat the Lexington Golden Bears on Thursday and fell 11-10. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tharptown's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Tharptown Wildcats face off against Phil Campbell Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Tharptown is facing Phil Campbell at the right time seeing as Phil Campbell is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lexington, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sheffield at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st.
