Basketball Recap: Alissa Bryant Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Klein Oak

Klein Oak typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Klein proved too difficult a challenge. They secured a 39-33 W over the Klein Oak Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-27 back in December of 2024.

Klein's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alissa Bryant, who posted 13 points along with five assists and five steals. Bryant has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Marc'Kalia Celestine was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Maci Mote and Kiana Vega certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Mote scored 12 points and three steals, while Vega had nine points and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Klein and bumps their season record up to 25-8. As for Klein Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 20-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Tomball Memorial the next time they take the court. Klein will host Tomball Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Klein Oak will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th.
