Soccer Game Preview: Prince George vs. Thomas Dale

The Prince George Royals will head out on the road to challenge the Thomas Dale Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Prince George is headed into Thursday's match following a draw, the team's first since March 24. They and Hopewell finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Thomas Dale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Petersburg. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

With that draw, Prince George's record moves to 5-2-2. As for Thomas Dale, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Prince George took their victory against Thomas Dale when the teams last played on April 8th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royals since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
