Softball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

If Riverside was feeling good fresh off their 18-0 takedown of Marked Tree last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Riverside Rebels fell 5-1 to the Valley View Blazers on Tuesday. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blazers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Valley View, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Riverside will head out on the road to challenge Buffalo Island Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Riverside's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Valley View, they will be playing at home against West Memphis at 4:30 p.m. on March 18th.
