Soccer Recap: Voyager Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Voyager Academy and Woods Charter squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Voyager Academy had to settle for second. They fell just short of Wolves by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time Voyager Academy couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Voyager Academy's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-4. As for Woods Charter, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-4-1.

Voyager Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woods Charter, they will take on Lejeune at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Woods Charter have won four straight at home, while Lejeune won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
