Soccer Game Preview: St. Francis vs. Gahr

The St. Francis Golden Knights will head out to challenge the Gahr Gladiators at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with St. Francis sitting on four straight wins and Gahr on nine.

St. Francis is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over Dunn. Considering the Golden Knights have won six games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Gahr ultimately got the result they hoped for two weeks ago. They came out on top in a nail-biter against La Mirada, sneaking past 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Gladiators were the better team in the second half.

Gahr's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four contests. As for St. Francis, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.
